"Saints Peter and Paul" Church

Located on Eroilor Avenue, the Church "Saints Peter and Paul" was built on the site of an old church (dating from the 18th century) with the same purpose of glorifying those who sacrificed their lives for the unification and defense of their ancestral land. The foundation of the holy place was laid on September 8, 1927, with the patron saint of St.Apostles "Peter and Paul", and the consecration of the church took place on November 7, 1937. It is worth noting that the painting, in the neo-Byzantine style, was executed in fresco by the renowned Gorjean painter Iosif Keber.
