About
The building, which occupies a picturesque position on the banks of the Cărtiorul stream, was built at the end of the century XVIII century.
Originally built in the form of a culvert, it underwent several interventions over time, later developing into the form in which it is found today and which is an example of how to understand the association of wooden structures and masonry forms, dominant feature of the architecture of the subcarpathian area.
What gives the monument a touch of uniqueness are the porch salva made on all sides, as well as the access stairs that create the vertical connection. The ground floor, which is slightly hollowed out below the ground level, includes two cellars with separate entrances, connected on the east side by an open hall, having as decoration elements two massive arches made of mixed masonry - stone and brick.
