About

The Cioclovina Botanical Reserve is a nationally protected area that corresponds to category IV of IUCN (botanical type natural reserve), located in Gorj County, on the administrative territory of Tismana city.

The natural reserve, spread over an area of 12 hectares, was declared a protected area and represents an area with rocky meadows, where rare species of rowan (shrub from the Rosaceae family) thrive.
