About
Piatra Boroștenilor is a national interest protected area, located in the Gorj county, on the administrative territory of the Peștișani commune.
The Piatra Boroștenilor natural reserve with an area of 28 hectares was declared a protected area by law and represents a mountainous area of geological, floristic and scenic interest. In the territory of the reserve grows the rare species of rock plant known as the strongman's cross (Hepatica transsilvanica).
