Mija Lake, also known as Lake Zăvoiele or Tăul de la Lunci, is a glacial lake in the Parâng Mountains, the Jiet basin. It is located in the Mija glacial caldera (the eastern caldera of the Mija Mare valley), at an altitude of 1980 m.

It has an area of ​​0.80 ha, the length is 120 m, the width is 100 m, and the maximum depth is 6.5 m. The lake is located in an alpine area with rocks and boulders, oriented in the south-north direction and guarded by Plum Peak.

It is fed by rainwater, reaching an area of ​​1 hectare in the spring and a maximum depth of 7.5 m. Being located behind a high glacial dam, it has no surface outlet, the lake water coming out through infiltration into the soil.
